Responsibilities
* Must be willing to work in Wayne County and Detroit.
* Utilizes the knowledge and practical experiences of an LPN to provide direct patient/family care in the home, traveling at least 50-75 miles per day.
* Performs basic therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures.
Qualifications:
* Successful completion of an accredited LPN nursing program required
* Licensure by the State of Michigan as an LPN
* NAPNES certification or successful completion of pharmacology exam required
* Minimum of two (2) years home care or medical-surgical experience as an LPN preferred.
* Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and health care personnel
* Must have reliable transportation and a telephone, possess a current State of MI driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
